This singlebreasted five button waistcoat is the perfect accompaniment to many a country outfit. At home under a hacking jacket, shooting suit or huntcoat to add that finishing touch or a little extra warmth, or on it’s own as a stylish country garment, you are sure to get many years of wear from this waistcoat.

The waistcoat features;

- Plain front or lapels

- Jetted, welt or flap pockets.

- Silk back lining with belt and buckle fastening.

- Gold buttons.

The cut of the jacket gives the wearer an elegant waisted look while still giving you the room you need to get forward when riding.

- One inside flask pocket with flap.

- Plain, full velvet or frame collar options and pocket trim.

- Hand stitched edges.

The tweed that Alexander James sources for it’s jackets is all British made. Choose from the finest Scottish Cheviot wool to fine lightweight Yorkshire wool to give you a jacket that combines style with durablity.

Our three button dressage jacket gives you a feel of elegance with it’s flattering waisted look and beautiful 18 oz cavalry twill fabric. The weight and sheen to this cloth are perfect for dressage, where style and deportment is essential. The cloth is sourced from one of the oldest mills in Yorkshire and is available in navy or black.

The cut of the jacket gives you the room to compete at the highest level while retaining a elegant look.

Our ladies hacking jacket is one of our most popular garments. Combining traditional tailoring with the finest keeper tweed fabric, for maximum durabilty.

The cut of the jacket is designed to give the wearer an elegant waisted look whilst still giving you the room needed when out riding.

The jacket features;

- Single breasted three button fastening.

- Side or centre vent at rear.

- Two slanted flap pockets.

- One inside flask pocket with flap.

The cloth is available in green or fawn heavyweight 100% wool keeper tweed. Sourced from Yorkshire from one of the oldest woollen mills still weaving to time honoured methods. The cloth also comes with a teflon coating for added protection from the worst of the British weather.

A great all rounder, this versatile jacket is at home on horseback as it is on country walks.
